Halvik Corp in McLean, VA seeks a Senior Data Engineer to support the Army Vantage program. You will work with a Senior Data/ML Engineer on high-performance Python workflows, data transformations, and predictive capabilities.

Candidates should have 8+ years in data engineering, strong Python and Polars/NumPy skills, and a Secret clearance; experience with LightGBM/XGBoost is preferred. Halvik offers a comprehensive benefits package and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent in a technical field and 8+ years of data engineering experience.
• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• Extensive Python experience with data-processing and ETL
• Hands-on experience with Polars and NumPy for data prep and validation
• Experience implementing predictive ML models using scikit-learn, LightGBM, or XGBoost

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance data-processing and analytical workflows using Python.
• Prepare, transform, analyze, and validate data with Polars and NumPy.
• Support feature development for predictive ML models.
• Collaborate with ML Engineer to train, evaluate, and refine models.
• Monitor performance and drift of predictive models; calibrate as needed.
• Integrate data products and models into the Army Vantage environment.
