Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Data Migration Engineer with DBA experience to design and implement Python-based extract/load pipelines, dbt transformations, and Airflow orchestration for a large-scale migration from Informatica PowerCenter to a modern data stack.

This role requires deep expertise converting Informatica workflows into Python, dbt, and Airflow and delivering production‑grade outputs at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience, including schema, synonyms, db links and backup/restore.
• 3+ years of dbt Core experience with modeling, macros and tests.
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter including mappings, sessions, workflows and parameterization.
• 5+ years of Python experience with production use of parallelism and batch processing.
• 5+ years of SQL experience with complex joins and window functions.
• Experience with Oracle Data Pump or SQL Server BCP/BULK INSERT for high-volume data movement.
• 5+ years of Airflow experience with DAG authoring and scheduling integration.

Responsibilities

• Assess Informatica workflows and translate to Python EL scripts and dbt models.
• Develop Python EL pipelines to land high-volume data into target warehouse.
• Design dbt transformation models based on Informatica mappings and best practices.
• Create dbt tests and Python unit tests to ensure data quality.
• Develop Airflow DAGs to orchestrate Python EL and dbt end-to-end.
• Contribute to GitLab CI/CD pipelines for dbt and Airflow deployments.
