Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Senior Data Migration Engineer with DBA experience to join our team in Remote, Texas. You will design and implement Python-based extract/load pipelines, dbt transformations, and Airflow orchestration for a large-scale Informatica-to-modern data stack migration.

You will translate Informatica workflows to Python EL scripts, develop robust pipelines for billion-row tables, and contribute to CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience including schema and performance tuning.
• 3+ years of hands-on dbt Core experience with models and tests.
• Informatica PowerCenter experience, including mappings and workflows.
• 5+ years of Python development for data pipelines and batch processing.
• 5+ years of SQL experience with complex joins and large datasets.
• Experience with Oracle Data Pump or SQL Server BCP for high-volume movement.

Responsibilities

• Assess Informatica workflows and translate to Python EL scripts and dbt models.
• Develop Python EL pipelines to land high-volume data into the target warehouse.
• Design dbt transformation models based on Informatica logic.
• Develop dbt tests and custom Python unit tests for data quality.
• Develop Airflow DAGs to orchestrate Python EL and dbt end-to-end.
• Contribute to GitLab CI/CD pipelines for dbt and Airflow.
• Perform peer code reviews and mentor engineers.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and data discrepancies during SIT/UAT.
• Create technical docs, runbooks, and handover materials.
