Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Data Analyst in the United States to drive a large-scale data migration initiative for a government sector project. You will own data mapping end-to-end, develop transformation logic, and collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and documentation.

You will work remotely within the United States, applying SQL and Python to build conversion scripts, validate results, and provide senior guidance on data quality and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 8+ years in data analysis with hands-on migration support.
• Experience mapping data between disparate systems and defining transformations.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and API concepts for data exchange.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute a large-scale data migration strategy.
• Analyze source and target systems to map data structures and dependencies.
• Develop data conversion scripts using SQL or Python.
• Create comprehensive mapping docs for both technical and business stakeholders.
• Support testing to ensure migrated data is accurate and complete.
• Maintain documentation of processes, mapping decisions, and lessons learned.
