Liberty Mutual Insurance in Columbus, OH is seeking a Data Leader to build a Data Marketplace for GRS by defining policy and standards to ensure asset quality as the platform scales.

This individual contributor role partners with security and product teams to align governance with strategy. The candidate will own eligibility, certification, and ownership models while enabling cross-domain data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, or related field.
• 15+ years governance experience for data, product, or platform.
• 10+ years managing data as an asset and defining data standards.
• Knowledge of data contracts and metadata management.
• Ability to resolve governance exceptions in federated environments.
• Experience with data access controls and analytics workflows.
• AI fluency with practical, responsible use of AI.

Responsabilités

• Own and evolve marketplace governance standards, including eligibility and ownership.
• Partner with domain teams to address governance needs and data issues.
• Review and update governance documentation and guidelines.
• Periodically review assets for accuracy and de-list outdated items.
• Resolve governance exceptions escalated from day-to-day operations.
• Define asset-level access requirements with security and product teams.
• Collaborate with Product Lead on strategy, roadmap, and success metrics.
