Job summary

Dell Technologies seeks a Senior Systems Engineer, Data Management, to provide pre-sales technical support and shape Dell’s data solutions for enterprise customers. You will lead discussions, analyze needs, and articulate how data platforms, governance, and AI capabilities translate into business value.

You will collaborate with sales teams to design end-to-end architectures, demonstrate capabilities, and guide customers through complex deployments across cloud data platforms and BI tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, Analytics Consultant, or Data Scientist with strong commercial exposure.
• Experience delivering data management, analytics, or data science solutions across cloud data warehouses or lakehouses.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into business-focused narratives for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead relationships with highly sophisticated customer accounts.
• Conduct needs analysis and define requirements beyond current solution scope.
• Prepare detailed product specifications to enable sales of our data solutions.
• Deliver impact presentations at customer facilities and run effective demos/POCs.
• Verify configurations and perform advanced data integration within customer environments.
