This role drives the strategy, design, delivery, and lifecycle of a key education pillar that helps employees across the organization build confidence using data to improve processes and outcomes. You will partner with leadership, subject matter experts, and diverse learner communities to create engaging learning experiences and measure impact.
The ideal candidate blends strong instructional design expertise with a solid data/analytics background and excels at facilitation, product thinking, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement for a data literacy education pillar, including impact metrics, ROI reporting, and executive summaries.
- Translate learning objectives into clear, scalable solutions leveraging modern instructional design and technology.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, data coaches, and training professionals; elevate program quality and consistency.
- Assess and curate internal/external learning resources; expand into reusable materials for multiple learner personas.
- Design and iterate courses, curricula, learning modules, and personas using pilot tests, user interviews, and formative evaluations.
- Partner with data subject matter experts to develop, validate, and refresh content aligned to emerging best practices.
- Facilitate training (primarily virtual) for varied audiences including support staff, clinical teams, and executives.
- Promote the program via talks, blog posts, and other channels; support operationalization and sustainability across initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years in data and analytics (e.g., data science, analytics, statistical programming, data integration/management, biostatistics, or software development) or equivalent education.
- 4 years in training and supervision, instructional design, classroom instruction, eLearning, or curriculum development.
- 3 years using instructional/visual design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Vyond, Captivate, and/or Articulate/Storyline.
- Bachelor’s degree in a computational, mathematical, science-related, education, or data-related field (or similar).
- Certification: Cogito Fundamentals (required).
- Confident facilitator and energetic presenter; proficient with Zoom, Teams, and online collaboration tools.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, organization, and stakeholder management skills; demonstrated ability to work with diverse learner populations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business, education, data science, public health, or a related computational/mathematical/science field.
- Cogito Trainer certification.
- 7 years in data and analytics; 5 years with instructional/visual design toolsets.
