Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Senior Data Integration Software Engineer to join the OneGL Data Subledger team. You will design, develop, and optimize scalable data integration solutions supporting the finance month-end close process.

Responsibilities include enhancing data pipelines, ensuring high availability, and collaborating with global teams to implement robust data integration and testing strategies within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of Data Integration engineering experience.
3–5 years of AWS services (Lambda, S3, Glue, Redshift).
Strong technical skills: data processing frameworks, ETL tools, SQL, Python, APIs, and large-scale system integration.
Experience with CI/CD practices & Dev Ops.
Excellent collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Leads initiatives to improve performance, scalability and maintainability of data pipelines.
Supports testing cycles and develops complex test scripts.
Analyzes and researches complex testing and defects within data integration.
Designs elements of new business processes and application design.
Documents architecture development and standards.
Provides production support including troubleshooting and solution design.
