Job summary

InstantServe LLC in Austin, TX seeks a senior data engineer/analyst to support modernization of TBIRDS by integrating eICRs, automating workflows, and building dashboards. You will assess business requirements, develop solutions using SAS, Python, or R, validate data, and collaborate across epidemiology and technical teams to reduce manual review and improve data quality.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and testing SAS, Python, or R scripts for data integration.
• Ability to design dashboards and automate data ingestion and workflows.
• Experience working with health or public health data, including databases and querying.
• Strong communication and collaboration to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assess integration needs and document business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain programs using SAS, Python, R, or similar tools.
• Build dashboards and automate data ingestion, validation, and clinical-review workflows.
• Test data accuracy, completeness, matching, and integration reliability.
• Document code, workflows, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with program, epidemiology, and technical teams.
