Job summary

MasterApp Labs LLC is seeking a Healthcare Data Integration & Automation Developer to join a hybrid Austin-based contract role. The candidate will ingest eICRs into TBIRDS, automate data workflows, and build dashboards using SAS, Python, and R.

This position supports interoperability modernization and requires documentation of processes for sustainability. The role emphasizes collaboration with BDESB staff and partners, extensive testing, and documentation of technical specifications.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAS, Python, R or similar programming languages.
• Experience with system integration, dashboard creation, and automation for interoperability workflows.
• Experience with health or public health data and knowledge of databases and querying.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions and document them clearly.
• Experience testing and validating automated data-integration solutions.
• Ability to document code and technical specifications for workflows and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess interoperability needs for TBIRDS and document required functions and workflows.
• Develop, test, document, and maintain SAS, Python, and R programs to automate data ingestion and dashboards.
• Validate automated workflows for accuracy and reliability, troubleshoot issues, and refine solutions.
• Support data interoperability efforts and planning for eICR integration and related initiatives.
• Collaborate with staff and partners to document data requirements and recommendations for future projects.
