Job summary

Reed Smith is seeking a Data Integration Senior Engineer to lead data platform engineering, DataOps, and enterprise data integration. You will manage the runtime lifecycle, design reusable patterns, and replace brittle point-to-point integrations with scalable services.

You will collaborate with architecture, security, and product teams to ensure governance, reliability, and cost efficiency across pipelines and interfaces.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership in data engineering and platform teams.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data pipelines and integrations.
• Ability to design modular, scalable data pipelines and services.
• Experience with DataOps, DevOps, CI/CD, and observability.
• Knowledge of data governance concepts like MDMS, entity resolution, and graphs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Professional conduct and adaptability in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead data platform engineering, DataOps, and enterprise integration.
• Co-design end-to-end solutions with cross-domain owners and define non-functional requirements.
• Develop and operate production-grade pipelines, APIs, and integration services.
• Create reusable connectors and integration patterns for analytics and AI use cases.
• Set engineering standards for source control, CI/CD, testing, and release.
• Define SLA, availability, latency, and cost targets with runbooks.
