Job summary

Reed Smith is seeking a Data Integration Senior Engineer to lead data platform engineering, DataOps, and governance-driven integration across the enterprise. You will design scalable pipelines, APIs, and interfaces, collaborating with architecture, security, and product teams to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong SQL and Python skills, and experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, information systems, or a related field; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, integration engineering, data platform engineering, or enterprise data management; hands-on technical leadership.
• Experience architecting and operating production data pipelines, APIs, and integrations on a modern cloud data platform such as Snowflake.
• Experience establishing engineering standards, automated testing, release management, observability, and incident response.
• Experience with MDM, semantic modeling, knowledge graphs, and data-product concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as hands-on technical lead for data platform engineering, DataOps, and enterprise integration.
• Co-design end-to-end solutions with capability owners across business, data, product, architecture, security, and technology.
• Develop and operate production-grade pipelines, APIs, services, and interfaces connecting internal systems and external sources.
• Create reusable connectors and integration patterns supporting analytics, automation, AI, and agent-enabled use cases.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards for source control, CI/CD, automated testing, documentation, and recovery.
