Job summary

SPS Health LLC in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Senior Data Integration Engineer to lead design, development, and operation of data integration pipelines. You will own data flow from source systems through to curated warehouse tables used by analytics, reporting, and operations.

The role spans full lifecycle: acquiring data, validating, transforming, and running production pipelines with a focus on reliability, scalability, and governance. Hybrid work with on-site presence in Milwaukee.

Qualifications

• Requires six (6) or more years of professional data engineering, data operations, data platform operations, or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• Experience leading teams and developing supervisory staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data integration processes that acquire data from partner and internal sources, including flat files over SFTP, REST APIs, and direct DB connections.
• Develop reusable, configuration-driven ingestion patterns to onboard new partner data feeds.
• Develop and maintain the T-SQL transformation logic from landing and staging to curated warehouse tables for reporting and analytics.
• Design ingestion processes to be idempotent with automated retry and restart behavior for failed runs.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting for pipeline execution state and data freshness.
