Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver innovative data products enabling fast, data-driven decisions. You will design, build, and support core data platform systems, creating scalable pipelines and governance solutions for trusted data.

You will mentor engineers, participate in design reviews, and collaborate across teams to drive long-term data strategies and support advanced analytics, including ML.

Qualifications

,Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or equivalent experience.
5–8+ years of data engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable data pipelines ingesting data from APIs, databases, files, and event streams.
Lead technical design reviews and translate business needs into enterprise-grade data solutions.
Develop and optimize data models (dimensional, data vault, canonical) to support analytics and BI.
Champion SDLC best practices, CI/CD, and data infrastructure automation.
Mentor Data Engineers, review code, and help shape engineering practices.
Collaborate with Architects, Data Leads, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams.
