Job summary

Raymond James Financial, Inc. is seeking a data analytics professional to conduct alert testing, calibrate thresholds, and collaborate with supervision SMEs.

You will determine data needs, extract and analyze data from AWS Redshift, and present insights to stakeholders. The role emphasizes turning analytics into actionable recommendations, ensuring data quality, and leveraging AI-enabled tools while communicating findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics or related field and three (3) years of professional experience.
• Any equivalent combination of experience, education, certifications and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct alert testing and calibration, including ATL/BTL analysis, to evaluate thresholds and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Supervision SMEs to understand objectives, rules, and historical outcomes for analyses.
• Determine data needs and work with data owners and tech partners to obtain data.
• Use SQL to extract, prepare, and analyze data from approved sources (AWS Redshift and others).
• Explore supervision data to identify trends, anomalies, and drivers behind results.
• Present findings to SMEs and stakeholders with recommendations for thresholds or criterion changes.
• Evaluate data quality, identify inconsistencies, and suggest improvements.
• Utilize AI-assisted and other tools to support data exploration and insights with validation.
• Develop reports and visualizations using Qlik Sense and other tools to tell the data story clearly.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to new projects as priorities evolve.
