Raymond James seeks a data analytics professional to join the Supervision Data, Metrics & Reporting team. You will analyze alerts, thresholds, and historical outcomes, collaborating with SMEs to turn findings into actionable recommendations.

The role emphasizes SQL, data quality, AI-assisted analysis, and data visualization using Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Power BI, with a remote work style and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to answer business questions and identify meaningful trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Experience using SQL to query, join, aggregate, prepare, and analyze data; AWS Redshift or similar data platform preferred.
• Experience with data visualization tools to present insights clearly.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct alert testing and calibration, including ATL/BTL analysis, to evaluate thresholds and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work with Supervision SMEs to understand objectives, rules, and historical outcomes; develop analyses.
• Determine data needed and coordinate with data owners and technology partners to obtain it.
• Use SQL to extract, prepare, and analyze data from approved sources (AWS Redshift and others).
• Identify trends and insights in Supervision data and investigate drivers of results.
• Turn findings into clear recommendations for threshold or criteria changes when supported by analysis.
• Evaluate data quality and suggest improvements where needed.
• Utilize AI-assisted and other analytical tools to support exploration and insights while validating results.
• Develop reports and visualizations to tell the data story using Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Apply analytical skills to new projects as priorities evolve.
