Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a data analytics professional to join the Supervision Data, Metrics & Reporting team in a hybrid role based in the St. Petersburg/Tampa area.

You will use SQL, AWS Redshift, and visualization tools to test alert thresholds, analyze results, and present actionable insights to SMEs and stakeholders. The role emphasizes data quality, AI-assisted analysis, and communicating complex findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics or related field and three years of professional experience.
• Any equivalent combination of experience, education, certifications and/or training.
• Experience with SQL and data visualization tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct alert testing and calibration, including ATL/BTL analysis, to evaluate existing alert thresholds and criteria.
• Work with SMEs to understand alert objectives and historical outcomes to develop analyses.
• Determine data needed to answer business questions and obtain data from data owners and technology partners.
• Use SQL to extract, prepare, and analyze data from approved sources such as AWS Redshift.
• Develop reports and visualizations to clearly communicate findings to SMEs and stakeholders.
• Assess data quality and identify inconsistencies or gaps; propose improvements.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to support data exploration and analysis where appropriate.
