Job summary

SailPoint is seeking a Data Infrastructure Platform Manager to lead the runtime and platform layer for batch, streaming, analytics, and ML workloads. You will own availability, scalability, security, performance, lifecycle, and cost efficiency of shared services like Airflow, Kafka, Spark on AWS EMR, Snowflake, and Iceberg.

You will coach engineers and partner with multiple teams to improve reliability and developer experience.

Qualifications

• Leadership of a cloud infrastructure/platform team delivering production services.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud operations.
• Experience with data processing platforms and cost optimization.
• Ability to set roadmaps, SLAs, and incident response practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead runtime and platform layer for batch, streaming, analytics, and ML workloads.
• Own availability, scalability, security, performance and cost efficiency of shared services.
• Coach engineers, set priorities across operations and roadmap work.
• Collaborate with Data Ops, Dev Platform, SRE, Observability, Security, Infra.
• Advance CI/CD, configuration as code, observability, and self-service.
