Job summary

SailPoint is seeking a Data Infrastructure Platform Manager to lead the runtime and platform layer supporting batch, streaming, analytics, and ML workloads. You will drive reliability, security, cost efficiency, and developer experience across shared services like Airflow, Kafka, Spark on EMR, Snowflake, and Iceberg.

You will shape the operating model, SLIs/SLOs, on‑call processes, and a 12‑month platform roadmap, partnering with data engineering, Dev Platform, SRE, and security teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years managing cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, or data infra teams.
• Deep understanding of cloud infra, distributed systems, and production operations.
• Experience with Airflow, Kafka, Spark, Flink, Snowflake, EMR, Iceberg as shared services.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Infrastructure Platform team responsible for runtime and platform layers across batch, streaming, analytics, and ML workloads.
• Own availability, scalability, security, performance, lifecycle, and cost efficiency of shared services.
• Define operating model, SLIs/SLOs, on‑call practices, and incident follow‑up for critical services.
• Partner with data engineering, Dev Platform, SRE, Observability, Security, and Infra teams to deliver platform improvements.
• Enable self‑service, paved roads, CI/CD, and configuration as code while safeguarding reliability and cost.
