Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solutions Architect, Data Governance to lead enterprise data governance initiatives across client engagements.

You will work with executives, data leaders, and delivery teams to design and implement governance programs, focusing on metadata, taxonomy, data lineage, and stewardship models, with Microsoft Purview as a core capability. You will guide governance readiness for modern analytics and AI platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure, while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, or related field.
7+ years delivering enterprise data, information management, or data governance solutions.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview (Unified Catalog, Data Map, Data Estate Insights, glossary, metadata, lineage).
Experience establishing data stewardship programs with executive sponsorship and ownership structures.
Experience leading customer-facing consulting engagements and governance design sessions.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Azure, and governance reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise data governance strategy and architecture across client engagements.
Architect and oversee Microsoft Purview governance, including data catalog and lineage capabilities.
Guide governance readiness for modern analytics and AI platforms (Fabric, Power BI, Azure).
Lead customer workshops, architecture reviews, and governance design sessions.
Design governance monitoring, reporting, and stewardship operating models.
