Job summary

Capgemini in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to join our data and AI practice. You will work hands-on with business and technology stakeholders to define data quality rules, govern data across Databricks and Unity Catalog, and ensure data is trusted for analytics and decisions.

You will profile data with SQL and Python, support data access governance, automate workflows, and coordinate with offshore delivery teams while contributing to governance tooling like Atlan.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of data governance, data quality, or data management experience.
• Strong SQL and Python; experience with APIs for automation.
• Understanding of data flows, metadata, data quality, and access governance.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to map data sources and data flows.
• Define data quality rules for both business and technical needs.
• Profile data, investigate issues, and implement data quality checks.
• Support data access governance across EDH and Databricks.
• Assist with Databricks Unity Catalog governance, including lineage.
• Coordinate with offshore delivery resources.
