Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeking a Data Analyst Associate Manager to lead a team of analysts driving our data governance program. You will guide analytics around metadata, data quality, and value measurement using the enterprise data catalog as the central hub.

You will steer dashboards in Tableau/Power BI, collaborate with data stewards to define terms and lineage, and mentor analysts to grow in governance and analytics maturity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data governance, advisory, or data management.
• 1+ years of leadership experience (team lead, project lead, mentoring junior analysts).
• Experience creating reports and dashboards with Tableau or Power BI.
• Understanding of data governance principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data governance analysts and oversee their daily tasks.
• Oversee the enterprise data catalog (e.g., Collibra) ensuring metadata is populated and useful for end-users.
• Design and implement data quality monitoring processes and track remediation with data stewards.
• Develop dashboards and reports in Tableau or Power BI to track governance metrics like data quality scores and catalog usage.
• Partner with data stewards to define business terms, certify data assets, and document data lineage.
• Act as SME on the data catalog, train users, and champion its adoption as the single source for data discovery.
• Translate governance objectives into analytics projects and tasks for the team.
• Report on data quality and governance initiatives to the Data Governance Lead and stakeholders.
