Job summary

Vsolutions Technologies is seeking an experienced Data Governance leader to drive enterprise governance across Collibra, Atlan, Alation and Manta in a hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will own the platform roadmap, oversee data lineage and metadata, ensure GDPR/CCPA compliance, and partner with analytics teams to enable governed AI use cases while managing risk across regulated data.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in data governance or enterprise data management.
Proven experience leading enterprise platforms or programs.
Strong understanding of governance frameworks and operating models.
Experience implementing AI-enabled capabilities within governed data platforms.
Understanding of data privacy laws and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive adoption.

Responsibilities

Lead the Enterprise Platform strategy for governance across multiple tools.
Own configuration, lifecycle management, and adoption of Collibra, Atlan, Alation, and Manta.
Drive data lineage, metadata management, and lifecycle controls for traceability.
Oversee AI-enabled capabilities and governance controls for compliant AI use cases.
Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
Integrate governance platforms with enterprise analytics and AI initiatives.
Lead governance reviews, audits, and risk assessments across the organization.
Identify and mitigate data governance risks related to sensitive and regulated data.
