Job summary

Talanto seeks an experienced Collibra Developer to design, implement, and support governance and metadata solutions using the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, with a focus on integrating Collibra with Databricks.

This role collaborates with data governance, engineering, architecture and business teams to translate governance requirements into scalable solutions, including catalogs, lineage and BPMN workflows, in a cloud environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen per contract requirements.
• Able to obtain/maintain Public Trust per contract requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 5+ years with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.
• Strong Collibra DGC and Edge experience.
• SQL and relational data concepts.
• Experience with Databricks or similar platforms.
• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Agile/Scrum with JIRA.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and enhance the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform (DGC, Edge).
• Set up communities, domains, asset types, attributes, and governance models.
• Develop data glossaries, catalogs, metadata models, and governance assets.
• Design and automate Collibra workflows (BPMN).
• Integrate Collibra with Databricks for metadata ingestion and lineage.
• Support Databricks data assets' governance (catalogs, schemas, tables).
• Implement end-to-end data lineage across platforms.
• Create integrations using REST APIs and scripting.
• Collaborate with data owners and engineers to translate requirements.
• Support data quality, policy management, and governance lifecycle processes.
• Develop scripts in Python/Java/SQL for integrations.
• Troubleshoot Collibra workflows and Databricks integrations.
• Assist in testing, deployments, upgrades, and security config.
• Develop governance dashboards and monitoring metrics.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
• Identify improvements to governance through automation.
