Job summary

Northern Trust in Tempe, AZ seeks a Senior Associate, Data Management to join the Data Management Enablement team. You will act as a data governance SME, collaborating with Product Owners, Tech, Data Quality and users to define requirements, translate them into Collibra configurations, and support roadmaps and UAT.

You will deliver hands-on operational support for metadata, data quality, attestation workflows, and access controls while helping stakeholders adopt scalable governance solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, CS, data management, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Collibra or similar enterprise data governance platforms.
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, data quality, and attestation concepts.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Ability to bridge business and technology through clear communication and structured problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate into Collibra configurations.
• Support the Product Owner in defining and maintaining the Collibra roadmap.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute UAT activities for Collibra enhancements and upgrades.
• Provide day-to-day operational support for metadata workflows, data quality, and access controls.
