Job summary

Macy's, Inc. in Johns Creek, GA seeks a Specialist, Data Governance Platforms to own the design, development, and operation of the Collibra-based governance platform. You will deliver metadata, lineage, and automated workflows to enable analytics and trusted data.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, migrate components across environments, and integrate Collibra with core systems via REST APIs and EDGE connections. You will drive data quality and compliance with GDPR/CCPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Proven experience in data governance, metadata management, and stewardship.
• Experience designing and implementing Collibra solutions and workflows.
• Ability to translate governance needs into scalable platform designs.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and manage Collibra implementations to support enterprise governance.
• Design and develop Collibra workflows using BPMN, Java, and Groovy.
• Create and maintain Collibra dashboards, lineage diagrams, and metadata dictionaries.
• Migrate Collibra components across development, test, and production environments.
• Integrate Collibra with core systems via REST APIs and EDGE integrations.
• Develop data quality checks and collaborate with stakeholders on governance.
• Support governance architecture and promote best practices across teams.
