Job summary

Vantage Data Centers Management Company LLC in Denver, CO, seeks a Senior Data Governance Manager to enable data-driven operations across North America. Lead governance, ownership, and quality programs; partner with owners, stewards, and tech teams to ensure trusted data for performance and risk management.

You will translate governance needs into practical, scalable processes, embedding controls and metadata practices into daily operations and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data management, information systems, computer science, engineering, business, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience in data governance, data management, analytics, data products, or a related discipline.
• Experience implementing governance operating models, ownership and stewardship practices, glossaries, data catalogs, and data-quality processes across the data and technology lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with catalog, metadata, lineage, data-quality, observability, AI-enabled, and workflow-automation tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Power Platform.
• Experience collaborating across business, data, technology, risk, and compliance teams in a large organization.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Operations data-governance framework and operating practices.
• Operationalize data-owner and data-steward responsibilities across Operations functions.
• Facilitate governance decisions and resolve cross-functional data-ownership issues.
• Partner with business and data teams to establish data quality rules, validation criteria, and controls.
• Maintain metadata, definitions, and data lineage; align with enterprise standards.
• Leverage automation and AI-governance capabilities to accelerate governance workflows.
• Embed governance in data products, analytics, and AI solutions from intake to deployment.
• Drive adoption, training, and continuous improvement of governance practices.
