ApplyLogic Consulting Group, LLC in Northern Virginia is seeking a senior data governance professional to lead enterprise data governance programs onsite in the Alexandria area. You will develop and enforce governance frameworks, standards, and operating models across the organization.

The role focuses on metadata management, data quality, data lineage, and data stewardship, with collaboration across data owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to improve accuracy, accessibility, and trust

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information management or related field.
• 7+ years leading enterprise data governance initiatives.
• Proven ability to establish governance frameworks and standards.
• Experience with data definitions, ownership, stewardship, and business rules.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and ongoing improvement of enterprise data governance programs.
• Establish governance frameworks, standards, and operating models.
• Provide expertise in metadata management, data quality, and data lineage.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and catalogs.
• Set enterprise data definitions, ownership, and stewardship rules.
• Drive quality metrics, monitoring, and remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with data owners, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Guide governance tools selection and ensure security and compliance alignment.
