Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to lead the data governance program, ensuring data integrity, availability, and compliant controls across critical assets. You will drive policy development, lifecycle management, and governance tooling initiatives.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business rules into data quality rules and participate in data improvement in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5-6 years experience in data governance or quality management.
• Knowledge of data architecture and governance design.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, deployment and enforcement of data policies and processes.
• Oversee design, development and deployment of governance tool functionalities.
• Curate operational documentation for governance tools for all users.
• Ensure all governed data assets meet policy and standards.
• Lead end-to-end data lifecycle management initiatives.
• Apply governance framework across Northwest with defined data definitions.
• Lead data quality rule translation and profiling in governance tools.
• Facilitate Data Working Groups with business partners to document data assets.
• Monitor data quality, identify remediation patterns, and implement controls.
• Develop program metrics and reporting for Data Steering Committee.
