Job summary

Cloudera is seeking a Data Engineering & Streaming Specialist (Pre-sales / Customer facing) to join our U.S. team.

You will leverage deep technical expertise to empower customers, influence product direction, and drive success across data engineering, real-time streaming, and AI readiness use cases. In this role you will lead customer engagements, support PoCs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable, cloud-native data architectures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading data engineering use cases.
• Experience designing and implementing real-time streaming solutions.
• Strong pre-sales or technical consulting background in big data/AI.
• Ability to present complex architectures to executives and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements by designing scalable, cloud-native data architectures.
• Support PoCs, solution sizing, and adoption for new and existing customers.
• Troubleshoot data pipelines and guide escalations to ensure success.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product and Engineering to align on customer outcomes.
