Adoreal is seeking a Senior Data Engineering Manager to lead and scale our data engineering organization. You will build and optimize a modern data platform, lead a distributed team, and partner with product, analytics, and business leaders to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and scalable.

You will champion analytics excellence, establish standards, and drive insights that impact product capabilities and company decisions. This role offers remote-first flexibility with US-state restrictions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering and data platforms.
• Experience leading distributed analytics teams across time zones.
• Strong SQL and programming in Python or Scala.
• Experience with cloud data ecosystems (Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines (dbt, Airflow, Spark).
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed analytics team.
• Architect and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data infrastructure.
• Oversee dashboards and analytics tools across BI platforms (Tableau/Looker/Power BI).
• Set analytics standards, governance, and best practices.
• Partner with product, analytics, and business leaders to drive data-driven decisions.
