Job summary

Adoreal is seeking a Senior Data Engineering Manager to lead and scale our data platform and distributed analytics team. You will partner with product, analytics, and business leaders to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and scalable.

The role offers full autonomy, opportunities for advancement, and direct impact on our data architecture and product capabilities. This is a remote-first position with eligibility in multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering or data platform development, including managing data teams.
• Experience with Snowflake/BigQuery and AWS/Azure/GCP data services.
• Expertise building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines with dbt, Airflow, Spark.
• Strong SQL and programming skills (Python, Scala).
• Experience with data modeling and real-time data ingestion.
• Excellent communication in translating analyses to stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed analytics team across multiple time zones.
• Architect, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, event streams, and ingestion frameworks.
• Oversee the design and implementation of cloud-native data infrastructure and orchestration.
• Ensure high data quality, governance, and observability across data systems.
• Oversee dashboards and analytics tools using BI platforms.
• Prioritize analytics projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Champion analytical excellence, KPI definitions, and model validation.
