Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in data engineering; 5+ years leading a team.
• Hands-on with big-data tech, especially Apache stack (Airflow, Spark).
• Cloud infrastructure proficiency (AWS or GCP) and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data engineers; coach and grow talent.
• Collaborate with analytics, data science, product teams on projects.
• Set technical direction, processes, and tooling for the team.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and regulatory compliance (GDPR/CCPA).
• Drive cost optimization with scalable, efficient data solutions.
