Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, database engineering, data platform operations, or related engineering disciplines.
• 7+ years of experience with SQL and solid experience with database technologies, data modeling, and database performance optimization.
• 5+ years of leadership, performance management, and developing engineering teams.
• 5+ years of experience driving operational excellence, service stability, and continuous improvement in complex technology environments.
• 2+ years of experience using AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of data engineers and DBAs, creating clear expectations and ongoing growth.
• Oversee design, delivery, support, and improvement of data platforms and database-driven solutions for analytics and operations.
• Drive operational excellence through monitoring, performance optimization, resiliency planning, and automation.
• Provide leadership across data engineering, database management, and platform responsibilities while aligning priorities with enterprise needs.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver reliable, secure, scalable solutions.
