Job summary

Old National Bank is seeking an AWS Platform Engineering Manager to lead a hands-on team responsible for reliability, security, automation, and evolution of our AWS cloud platform. You will own platform standards, drive Terraform-based automation and CI/CD pipelines, and shape roadmaps to deliver secure, cost-efficient cloud services that align with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven hands-on experience managing AWS cloud environments at enterprise scale (platform ops, security, automation).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop engineering teams while contributing technically.
• Strong communication skills to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Expertise in AWS architecture, Terraform, automation, CI/CD, IAM, security, observability, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers while remaining hands-on in solution design, architecture decisions, and complex troubleshooting.
• Serve as a technical authority for AWS platform services, infrastructure as code, cloud architecture patterns, automation practices, and secure by design principles.
• Own AWS platform standards and contribute to the design and implementation of secure, reusable, and scalable cloud solutions.
• Oversee AWS environments for critical services, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability through proactive monitoring and incident response.
• Develop AWS platform roadmaps, identify and adopt new services, and translate strategic objectives into actionable engineering initiatives.
