Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Engineering to lead teams delivering scalable data products and platforms. You will advance our Databricks-based lakehouse, drive AI-native engineering, and collaborate with executives to align delivery with business outcomes.

You will own governance, security, and reliability of data services, and lead modernization efforts across analytics, AI, and operations. A strong leadership track record and technical depth are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in data engineering or software engineering
• Experience leading engineering teams and people managers
• Hands-on technical depth with Databricks, Spark, and data platforms
• Experience with AI-enabled engineering practices is a plus
• Strong business acumen and executive communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop data engineering managers and engineers
• Own delivery and operation of scalable data pipelines and platform capabilities
• Lead Databricks platform leadership and modernization efforts
• Define and scale AI-native engineering practices with governance and security
• Partner with executives to align strategy and delivery with business outcomes
