Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Senior Lead, Data Engineering to shape enterprise data solutions and drive complex data initiatives. You will mentor engineers, define strategy, and partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable data products across the organization.

You will work with Azure-based technologies (Databricks, Delta Lake, Data Factory) to build robust data platforms, automate pipelines, and ensure data quality and governance in a global enterprise context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Proven experience building and modernizing cloud-based data platforms in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure-based data technologies (Databricks, Delta Lake, Data Factory, DevOps, CI/CD).
• Strong SQL and Python skills, plus familiarity with Spark or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses/lakehouses, and scalable data models.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, development, and modernization of scalable enterprise data platforms.
• Define and execute a multi-year data engineering strategy for scalability and maintainability.
• Design and optimize Azure-based data solutions (Databricks, Delta Lake, Data Factory, CI/CD).
• Harmonize data across ERP systems into common data models.
• Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards and documentation.
