Job summary

Nix is seeking a Data Engineer to help shape a multi-country cloud analytics platform for Latin America. You will build modular data models in Snowflake using dbt, ensure data quality with automated tests, and integrate pipelines into CI/CD with Git governance.

You will collaborate with BI, Data Science, and regional teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions, while maintaining strong documentation and data lineage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related technical field.
• 3+ years hands-on data engineering or related software roles.
• Strong SQL, Snowflake experience, and dbt proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines and semantic models in Snowflake using dbt.
• Implement data quality frameworks and automated tests to ensure data integrity.
• Enforce Git versioning and CI/CD workflows for all pipelines.
• Support operational incidents and monitor multi-country data workflows.
• Collaborate with BI, Data Science, and business teams to meet requirements.
• Document data models, dictionaries, lineage, and cataloging standards.
