Nix is seeking a Lead Data Engineer & Architect to design and operate a multi-country data platform on Snowflake and GCP, with a focus on secure ingestion, modeling, and real-time analytics. You will drive architecture, data governance, and FinOps while mentoring a growing team of data engineers.

Experience in cloud data warehousing, dbt modeling, and IaC integration with GitHub is required. The role offers flexible working formats and opportunities across LATAM and the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years in Snowflake production, 5+ years cloud data warehousing with Snowflake exposure.
• Strong knowledge of GCP data ingestion and security governance.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and optimize production data architectures in Snowflake and GCP.
• Lead multi-country data platform development with governance and FinOps oversight.
• Implement semantic layer with dbt and manage IaC with DCM and GitHub.
• Mentor engineers and enforce CI/CD, testing, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, and Regulatory teams across LATAM.
