Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines across on-premises and cloud sources. You will be a core Snowflake developer, optimizing data modeling, performance, and secure data sharing.

You will architect transformation pipelines, maintain semantic layers, and guide decentralized teams while advancing CI/CD practices and cloud tool integration.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of dedicated data engineering experience.
• Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and data sharing experience.
• Hybrid data movement across on-premises to cloud (batch, streaming, event-driven).

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines from on-premises and cloud sources.
• Core developer for Snowflake data platform, supports performance and data modeling.
• Architects transformation pipelines delivering high-quality inputs to Snowflake and dbt AI features.
• Maintains semantic layers and metadata models for Self-Service 2.0 NL interfaces.
• Establishes reference architectures, reusable templates, and CI/CD best practices for decentralized teams.
• Provides management and mentoring to data engineers and guides analysts.
