Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Sr. Data Engineer in Wisconsin to design and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and streaming data, leveraging Snowflake, dbt, and cloud tools. You will help shape semantic models and drive data platform improvements.

You will mentor one data engineer, contribute to architectural choices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and enable AI-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Five (5)+ years of dedicated data engineering experience.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture and tuning.
• Experience moving data across hybrid on-premises to cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines for batch, real-time streaming, and event-driven data movement.
• Core developer for the Snowflake data platform including performance tuning and data sharing.
• Architects and builds transformation pipelines delivering high-quality inputs to Snowflake and dbt AI features.
• Maintains semantic layers and metadata models to support Self-Service 2.0 NL interfaces.
