Qualifications

8+ years building scalable ETL pipelines with SQL, PySpark, or Scala.
3+ years leading data engineering work with business or data science partners.
Experience scaling multi-terabyte data sets and analytics challenges.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Developed or enhanced ETL orchestration tools or frameworks.

Responsibilities

Define and implement the data ontology across Roblox in collaboration with Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams.
Lead and mentor data engineers to support Roblox's evolving data needs.
Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines for core data sets.
