Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help build a centralized data platform that consolidates data from 30+ marketing channels. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to design scalable data solutions and accelerate time-to-market for key initiatives.

The role focuses on building data pipelines in GCP, modeling data for analytics, and creating data products for reporting and insights, while embracing AI-assisted development and IaC practices.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Engineer on enterprise-scale data initiatives.
• Hands-on with GCP, BigQuery, Dataflow.
• Strong Python and Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with data modeling and APIs.
• Familiar with event-driven architectures and Pub/Sub.
• Experience with Cloud Composer/Airflow.
• Experience building data products for analytics.
• Ability to work with Product and Business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products within GCP.
• Develop and optimize data models supporting analytics and reporting use cases.
• Integrate data from multiple external and internal sources.
• Partner with Product and Business teams to gather requirements, solve complex problems, and recommend technical solutions.
• Build event-driven architectures and APIs supporting modern data workflows.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and performance of existing data platforms.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and engineering best practices to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Operate as a strategic engineer capable of independently navigating ambiguity and driving solutions forward.
