Job summary

Accenture is seeking a GCP Senior Data Engineer to deliver data modernization, analytics, and AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will support architecture design, build data pipelines and models, perform analysis, and contribute to technical implementations under guidance from senior team members.

In this role you will work hands-on with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Looker, Vertex AI, Gemini models, and MLOps processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, ML Engineering, or related fields.
• 4+ years practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• 5+ years experience with SQL, data modeling, and building data pipelines.
• 3+ years experience with Python or AI/GenAI tools (Vertex AI preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
• Support ML model development and AI solutions using Vertex AI, Gemini models, and MLOps processes.
• Participate in client workshops to translate needs into technical tasks and plans.
• Implement metadata, data quality checks, and data lineage tracking with GCP tools.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects, contribute to accelerators and reusable components.
