Job summary

Fastly is seeking a Data Engineer to scale our data platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and to build robust data pipelines that empower data scientists, analysts and business decision-makers.

You will design data models, dashboards and analytics products, promote data governance, and drive self-service analytics across the organization. The role operates within a largely hybrid model with collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience building data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ability to design and optimize data infrastructure for scale and reliability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and business stakeholders to define requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with executives and stakeholders to prioritize and fulfill analytics needs.
• Identify KPIs and work with business teams to define them.
• Design and build data products, models and dashboards for data-backed decisions.
