Job summary

Experity, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines powering analytics, AI/ML, and healthcare products. You will collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, ML, and Product teams to transform data into trusted data products.

The role requires hands-on data engineering, cloud expertise, and leadership to mentor engineers and improve the data ecosystem’s scalability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience building production-grade data pipelines and data platforms.
• Strong Python and SQL with solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience with Kafka, Flink, or other distributed/streaming tech.
• Strong AWS experience (S3, Lambda, Glue, Kinesis, etc.).
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and high‑volume data processing.
• Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and IaC.
• Strong data quality, governance, security, observability, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and near-real-time data processing.
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, applications, event streams, and external sources into the enterprise data platform.
• Develop reusable data models and data products for analytics, reporting, and AI/ML applications.
• Implement complex data transformations using Python, SQL, Snowflake, and distributed data technologies.
• Ensure data solutions are scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient.
• Build reusable data engineering frameworks and patterns to improve productivity.
• Implement CI/CD, DataOps, and infrastructure as code across pipelines.
• Develop monitoring and data observability with automated remediation.
