Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to maintain and enhance complex data systems for Pharmacy Benefit Management clients. You will design and implement scalable data solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and focus on data warehousing, analytics, and BI to improve financial and clinical outcomes.

You will apply strong SQL, data modeling, and modern software engineering practices while working in an Agile environment and ensuring compliance with healthcare data standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or 4+ years of related experience.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred.
• 10+ years of SQL database development and data warehouse experience.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and dimensional modeling skills.
• Experience with cloud-based databases (Azure/AWS).
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Python.
• Familiarity with .NET, C#, JSON/XML.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver scalable data solutions for analytics and BI.
• Maintain and optimize SQL ETL processes and reporting.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Ensure code quality through testing, debugging and documentation.
• Monitor database performance and implement indexing strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
• Stay current with data engineering trends and best practices.
