Highmark Inc. is seeking a senior data engineer to join a technical team responsible for design, development, and maintenance of the organization’s data infrastructure.

You will ensure reliable data movement, transformation, and storage across platforms while upholding quality and governance. The role involves collaborating with data professionals, analysts, and engineers to build robust data pipelines, optimize data flows, and implement security and compliance measures.

Qualificações

• 5+ years designing scalable data systems and patterns
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and BI support
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams
• Experience mentoring juniors

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data processes for multi-system data movement and transformation
• Develop data models, databases, and data warehouses for BI and analytics
• Collaborate with IT, product, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements
• Monitor production progress and report issues to lead developers
• Implement data governance practices ensuring data quality and compliance
• Collaborate on data security measures including access controls and encryption
• Mentor associate and intermediate data engineers
• Perform data analysis to provide insights for decision-making
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging data engineering tools
• Other duties as assigned or requested
