Job summary

Care Access seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and enterprise data solutions supporting clinical, operational, and analytical needs. You will oversee ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and governance.

Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions, mentor juniors, and promote best practices in CI/CD and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: bachelor’s or master’s in CS/IS/engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of data engineering experience building cloud-based pipelines.
• Strong expertise with Databricks, SQL, dbt, Python and cloud data ecosystems (Azure).

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines for clinical, operational, and analytical needs.
• Develop architecture standards and reusable data engineering frameworks.
• Automate data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration using cloud-native tools.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to meet data requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and engage with contractors to extend capacity.
