Job summary

Evolve is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in the United States to help build and evolve our data platform. You will design scalable pipelines, optimize data models, and collaborate across teams to empower analytics, reporting, and machine learning.

As a technical leader, you’ll mentor engineers, promote best practices, and drive observability, cost efficiency, and reliability in an AWS-based data environment while delivering high‑impact systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering or related roles.
• Deep experience with SQL and Python for data transformation.
• Hands-on with modern data stack tools: dbt, Airbyte, Fivetran, Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical contributor shaping scalable data systems.
• Design and deliver reliable data pipelines for analytics and ML use cases.
• Develop ELT workflows using Airbyte, Fivetran, dbt, and Python.
• Model Snowflake data with star schemas for AI-ready datasets.
• Lead data observability efforts with monitoring and incident response.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to optimize AWS infra.
• Establish engineering best practices and CI/CD processes.
• Mentor engineers and analytics professionals across the team.
• Stay current on emergent data technologies and propose improvements.
